Dear Friends:
At St. John the Apostle School our first priority is always the children. We anticipate the opportunity of sharing Christ with every student. As role models of our faith, we further endeavor to educate the whole child. We prepare SJA graduates to enter college prep high-schools and beyond as productive, creative and innovative members of community.
Academic excellence is one of our objectives, in addition to consistent teaching of Catholic values and beliefs. We encourage each child to reach their full potential. The faculty is selected for their desire to provide education in the faith-filled setting. Please use this website to view our philosophy, mission statements and beyond to learn more about us.
Research has shown that students who have attended Catholic schools are more likely to remain active in the Church as adults. Conveying Catholic values and beliefs in today's environment is our challenge. Students and faculty routinely serve on the altar, lead Morning Prayer, receive communion, and participate in reconciliation. Religion studies are integral to our curriculum, preparing the students well in their knowledge base of Church history and teachings as well as, preparing them for service.
I have been involved with Catholic Education, in various positions, over the past 20 years. I choose to be at a Catholic institution because I fully believe that Christ is in our midst daily asking us to walk with him and show the children how to recognize this themselves.
Enjoy your tour and God Bless You,
