I am so excited to be St. John the Apostle and work with the Pre-K kids and their families! I am originally from Illinois and moved to the Northwest over 10 years ago. I have always wanted to be a teacher. But when I first got to college, I felt I wasn’t ready and got a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation. After different jobs in the camp and outdoor school world, I got my Master’s in Teaching in 2011.
I have worked many years in Preschool settings including Headstart. I enjoy seeing the growth from preschoolers to little Kindergartners during the year.
In my spare time, I spend time with my husband and daughter. We like to go hiking, for walks, or cheering on the Blazers! I enjoy meeting the SJA community and working with the children here!
